Do you own or have you owned a Dachshund before? If you have never owned a Dachshund, why do you want one? Do you own or rent your home? If you rent, do you have approval from your landlord to own a dog? Do you have a fenced dog run or yard? If yes, how tall and what type is the fence or dog run? If no, do you have a dog pen/yard for the puppy or an area that will be safe for the puppy to relieve itself and play in? How many hours a day (approximately) will the puppy be alone? Where will the puppy be kept when alone? Who will be the primary care giver? Are there children in the home where the puppy will reside? If so, how many and their ages? Are you aware of the health concerns of the Mini Dachshund breed? Do you currently have any other pets? If so, how many, ages, gender, breeds, types of other pets(cat, bird, ferret, etc.) in the home now? Are they intact or spayed/neutered? Please include seasonal visitors or students that may bring another animal into the home. Has it been exposed to a dachshund or a small dog? Please tell us more about yourself.
